Meet my wonderful + beautiful friend, Liliya. Our friendship began many years ago, and through the years, some of my favorite times with her include surfing for the first time on a cold, cold February day back in the day, “cleaning” up the local dump in a village in Ukraine + stumbling upon very dated war photos, and loudly singing our hearts out and harmonizing whenever we were in a car together. I adore her poetic + reflective spirit, mind-blowing creativity, and adventurous spontaneity.
This blog began nearly two years ago with pretty portraits of her on my first post ever (see it HERE). SO MUCH has occurred since those portraits. She was caught up in a beautiful romance which led to marriage and now she is expecting a precious little bundle of joy. (That I am so excited to meet soon!)
